The author always does a wonderful job of articulating ideas in a practical and informative manner. This book is no exception. He suggests overwhelming your market with remarkability. test your limits and simply ask ‘why not’.  You are either remarkable or invisible.

  • So Good They Can’t Ignore You: Why Skills Trump Passion In The Quest for Work You Love by Cal Newport

The author offers two approaches to thinking about work: the craftsman mindset, a focus on what value you’re producing in your job, and the passion mindset, a focus on what value your job offers you.  Career passions are rare, therefore be so good they can’t ignore you. Adopt the craftsman mindset which will be the foundation on which you’ll build a compelling career.
